Responsibilities:
- Manage full set of accounts following accounting principles.
- Prepare Group Consolidated Accounts.
- Prepare timely on Monthly Management Accounts.
- Financial forecasting and risk analysis.
- Cash Flow management and taxation.
- Audit financial transactions and document accounting control procedures.
- Keep up with financial policies, regulations, and legislation.
- Any other relevant duties as assigned from time to time.
- Prepare daily bank reconciliation report.
- Maintain proper records and organization of the filling system.
- Responsible for day-to-day finance and accounts administration tasks.
- Complete weekly bank reconciliation to ensure no discrepancy in banking.
- Check on petty cash returns from branches and issue reimbursement cheques.
- Check on staff expenses claim and input to staff claim template.
- Perform monthly bank statement reconciliation and resolve discrepancies if any.
- Knowledge in Public Listed Company financial statements reporting.
- Any other ad hoc assignment/task.
- The ability to handle secretarial and tax will be added advantage.
Requirements:
- Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA/CA/CPA), Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields with professional qualifications.
- Proven working experience in accounting or in a relevant field.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures.
- Advance level in MS Excel and good knowledge of accounting software.
- Attention to detail and confidentiality, highly organized, and work well under pressure.
- Possess good knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures.
- Familiar with accounting standards, tax laws, and filling procedures.
- Excellent math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors.
- Advance level in MS Excel and good knowledge of accounting software.
- Organization and multi-tasking skills.
- Able to prepare quarterly results for public listed companies.
- Able to travel and involve in risk management.
- Familiar with Corporate Governance of Malaysia.
- Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
- Good teamwork and leadership skills.
- Good health conditions
