The ideal candidate can convert high-level requirements into interaction sequences and artifacts. They can transform them into aesthetically pleasing, user-friendly, and practical designs.

Responsibilities

  • Execute all visual design phases, from concept to final engineering handoff.
  • Create original website design concepts that simplify and make complex obstacles user-friendly.
  • Able to communicate interaction and design concepts and develop wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps.
  • Present and defend designs and critical deliverables in front of peers and executives.
  • Establish and promote design best practices, guidelines, and standards.

Requirements and Skills

  • Proven track record as a Web Designer
  • A solid portfolio demonstrating graphic design expertise
  • Expertise in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps.
  • Photoshop, Illustrator, or other visual design and wireframing software expertise
  • HTML, CSS, and JavaScript expertise for rapid prototyping
  • Working knowledge of the Agile/Scrum development methodology.
  • Excellent visual design skills with user-system interaction sensitivity
  • Capacity to effectively and creatively solve problems
  • Current on the most recent Web trends, techniques, and technologies
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or a visual arts-related field.

Salary Range

The average monthly salary for Web Designer jobs in Malaysia ranges from RM 3,800 to RM 4,800.
