As part of the team, you are responsible to carry out construction desktop reviews and risk surveys, based on the Allianz Group / Company strategy and guidelines, either on site or via remote/virtual method, and subsequently analyse the gathered data/information for reporting process/preparation and providing consultation on risk improvement opportunities

Key Responsibilities:

• Primary specialization is for Construction and Engineering risks.
  Cross specialization is the Property risks.
• Plan and conduct assigned service/survey orders or other related tasks/projects and deliver quality risk analysis reports, desktop reviews or related responses within a stipulated turnaround time.
• Provide risk review and/or technical risk information gathered from risk surveys and/or risk analysis to Underwriters & Marketers for all assigned jobs via dedicated tool/system.
• Analyze and perform MFL/PML and/or EML, where necessary according to guideline, in suggesting Underwriters to decide the appropriate company retention.
• Provide consultation on loss control (Risk Improvement Recommendations - RIR) review or discussion with Underwriters, Marketers and/or for clients of the company.
• Undertake any other duties and responsibilities relating to department’s function and objectives as may be directed by the superior from time to time.

Key Requirements

• A Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering. Additional professional certification in related qualification such as OSHA will be an advantage.
• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in construction project(s), construction management and consultancy
• Good communication and written skills in English. Other language (e.g. Mandarin) will be an advantage
• IT/computer savvy will be an advantage.
• Possesses own transport with valid driving license.

Job Purpose 

To carry out maintenance for mechanical and electrical equipment and fittings in MDEC Offices.

Duties & Responsibilities 

To carry out maintenance of MDEC offices:

1. MDEC Bangsar South and KL office (Main Responsibility)

2. To assist works in Cyberjaya Offices (as and when required)

Work scope includes:

• Mechanical Services: HVAC, Air-conditioning Split Unit, Air curtain, Exhaust Fans, Sliding Door, Water Pump and Motor, Chilled Water Motor & Pump, Lift and related services.

Qualifications 

• 2 years Experience in Mechanical (air-conditioning) / electrical maintenance work

Education:

• Vocational education in Engineering works (air-conditioning preferred) or related certificate
• SPM

Competency Required 

• Capable of scheduling and simple report writing.
• Air-conditioning and electrical repair works - trouble shoot issue, problem detection and repairs.
• Communication skills: able to converse in Bahasa Malaysia and English
