Regulatory Compliance Manager

You'll be assist the Heads of Compliance in ensuring that Allianz Malaysia Berhad (Company) and its subsidiaries, i.e. AGIC and ALIM are in compliance with the Financial Services Act 2013, all other relevant laws and guidelines issued by Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM), Life Insurance Association of Malaysia (LIAM), Persatuan Insurans Am Malaysia (PIAM) and any other relevant regulatory bodies, as well as the Policies, Standards and Procedures of the Allianz Group.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide business oriented compliance advice to the organisation to enable the business to make informed commercial decisions;
- Identify, conduct reviews and monitor levels of compliance risk associated with the activities of the business/functions;
- Assist to follow up and monitor compliance issues highlighted by regulators, Internal Audit, Group and/or Regional Compliance for its resolution and reporting to Senior Management;
- Assist in performing Group Compliance Integrated Risk & Control System (IRCS) and Compliance Assurance of Risk and Effectiveness (CARE) Assessment and System of Governance (SOG) review based on requirements of Group Compliance, which includes preparing, documenting and presenting the IRCS, CARE and SOG results to management and Boards/Board Committees
- Conduct compliance reviews on areas described in the Annual Compliance Plan
- Assist Heads of Compliance in the preparation and documentation of Related Party Transaction (RPT) papers of the Company for presentation and reporting to management;
- Any other work that may be assigned by the Heads of Compliance.
Key Requirements
- Degree in Finance/Commerce/Economics/Banking from a recognised university or tertiary institution;
- At least 7 years relevant working experience in the Compliance department.
- Possess good knowledge and solid experience in areas of conduct of business, corporate governance, regulatory risk and regulatory change.
- Holds relevant tertiary education degrees/papers. Possession of related professional qualifications will be an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to engage regulators and also develop partnerships throughout the organisation
- Experienced leader in guiding internal teams, business and project stakeholders through regulatory change and management of compliance risks
- Sound judgment, results oriented and forward looking individual with abilities to make good decisions and recommendations

Executive, MD Compliance
Job Purpose
1. To ensure the MSC Malaysia Status [now known as Malaysia Digital (MD) Status] companies adhere and are in compliance with the Conditions of Grant (CoG).
2. To assist, facilitate and enforce the compliance of MSC/MD Status companies within the existing MSC/MD requirements.
3. To facilitate growth and transformation of MD Status framework in regard to Approval Letter adherence in accordance to the Malaysia Digital initiative.
4. Responsible to perform application verification, assessment, and due diligence to ensure efficiency, transparency and integrity for key processes for Pioneer Status financial tax incentives under the MSC/MD Bill of Guarantee (BoGs) No 5 and/or other non-compliance findings from MSC/MD related processes.
5. To continuously monitor the compliance related information / database is up-to-date in the system.
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Ensure MSC / MD Status companies comply with the CoG/Approval Letter.
- Governing regulatory matters as set by the policies accordingly.
- Maintaining good relationship and service to MSC/MD Status companies and stakeholders whilst ensuring requirements set in CoG/Approval Letter are adhered.
2. Assessment of MSC / MD Status companies in matters regarding CoG / Approval Letter.
- Conduct inspections/site visit and intelligence gathering.
- Provide analysis and input sharing for compliance related matters.
3. Enforcement of CoG/ Approval Letter
- Monitor MSC/MD Status companies’ compliance to CoG/Approval Letter.
- Assist in the issuance of the compliance related demands.
- Conduct assessment and continuous scrutiny of companies identified by internal/external stakeholders.
- Prepare summary report of non-compliance matter and other related notation.
- Providing closure for compliance related matters by way of issuance of related documentations, communication and deliberation with other stakeholders.
- Management and validation of Self Declaration Form submitted by the MSC/MD Companies.
4. Active and Inactive MSC/MD Companies
- Conduct due diligence for the surrendering company, active and inactive company.
- To prepare and issue Notice of Breach for the non-compliance for active and inactive MSC/MD company.
- Prepare report and consolidate recommendation via Presentation deck/Assessment.
- Prepare report and consolidate recommendation via Presentation Deck/Assessment Report/Summary Report and present to relevant Committees
- Maintain proper record, filing and handling of confidential information.
5. Data management and information
- Ensuring data / information is captured accordingly in Vega, EDMS, MD System or any related system.
- Maintain proper record, filing and handling of confidential information from start to finish.
6. Ad hoc task.
- To conduct ad hoc task related to compliance matter from time to time or when needed

Inspector of Work - Based in KL
- Monitor and supervise Architectural works at the construction site.
- Carry out inspection at all on-going and completed works to ensure compliance with specifications.

Job Responsibilities
- Assist QA/QC Executive on the implementation of ISO system and organize internal quality audit twice a year

Quality Engineering
Responsibilities
- Liaised with planner regarding job execution and plan timeline based on initial scope of work.
- To share scope of work and projected timeline to team and supervisor prior execution work.
- Join inspection with technician and QC lead by team leader.
- Liaise with QC on data measurement and generate as found report c/w recommendation. The As Found Report shall be submitted within three (3) days after equipment received. In case of the certain parts need to be further inspected, the As Found Report shall be submitted within 5 working days after get approval from Engineer.
- To arrange internal discussion with Engineer, planner, and work leader to review the as found report c/w provide recommendation and finalize timeline.
- To arrange discussion and attend meetings with client to finalize scope of work and agreed on the proposed timeline.
- To prepare work order for fabrication and repair process and delegate to work leader for work execution.
- Update to Enduser/client on job progress via EMAIL or Whatsapp Group (upon request) based on priority job. P1 – Daily update ; P2 – 3 days update; P3 – weekly update.
Response time :
- P1 – immediately and to reply any technical issue or arrangement within 1-2 hours.
- P2- 2 hours and to reply any technical issue or arrangement within 3-5 hours.

- Ensure sound delivery of technical services, drive performance and reliability from software and infrastructure on behalf of the company.
