Well, Barbie doesn’t need an introduction, and Ryan Gosling and Margot Robbie bringing the famous plastic doll to life with a California vibe is just the icing on the cake.
On the other hand, there’s no reason not to see Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer in the nearest movie theater. And if you see this Barbenheimer craze going on around you, you need to know why it’s so popular.

People aren’t sure if they should watch the lighthearted Barbie before the serious Oppenheimer or start with the high-voltage, real-life story of a theoretical scientist and the creation of the atomic bomb and end with the lighthearted Barbie. Both movies are masterpieces. Both have great casts, brilliant directions, and great directors.
2. Christopher Nolan has always been a blockbuster on the move. Who could say no to someone who directed your favorite movies, like The Dark Knight, Inception, and Interstellar? People think that Oppenheimer will be another great movie from Nolan. It has a great cast, with actors like Cillian Murphy, Robert Downey Jr., Florence Pugh, Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, and many others.
3. We’re talking about Barbie and Ken. Since her debut in 1959, Barbie has become a cultural icon worldwide. Greta Gerwig is known for making thought-provoking movies from a woman’s point of view, like Little Women and Lady Bird. A new project could give her another chance to show off her skills. Gerwig’s version of Barbie will be different from the typical 1950s version of a white girl with blonde hair. Instead, the movie will have a lot of other Barbie dolls that come from different countries and have different jobs.
4. More than just being different, these two movies have a strange way of enhancing each other. One film is about protecting the American way of life, while the other shows how fake and shallow that way of life is. Given that Gerwig and Christopher Nolan have a lot of loyal fans, it would be wrong for Barbie and Oppenheimer to not get as much attention as they do.
