Robotics engineering is a field of engineering that is the creation of machines to replicate human movements and actions. A robotics engineer creates applications or autonomous machines such as robots used for industries like mining, manufacturing, automotive and services. Engineers build these robots with the hopes that the machines will then be able to do repetitive, hazardous or even unsafe jobs.
WHAT DOES A ROBOTICS ENGINEER DO?
A robotics engineer designs and builds prototypes, tests machines and maintains the software that controls them. They may also conduct appropriate research on the most efficient and safest process to create these robotic systems.
ROBOTICS ENGINEER JOB DUTIES
