On 14th of July 2023, Balmain presented their fall/winter collection at Kuala Lumpur’s famous luxury fashion shopping mall ,The Starhill – Home of the Tastemakers.
Starhill houses many high-end brands such as Audemars Piguet, Louis Vuitton, Off-White and many more. This historic Parisian brand opened their first Malaysian flagship store in 2021.
This show was a personal gathering for Malaysia’s Balmain Army with unlimited free-flow of cocktails and everything fashionable. From the dresses to the shoes and above all, the bling. Also, we had Noryn Aziz gave us a beautiful cover of Amy Winehouse’s ‘Back To Black’ and her new hit song ‘Kau’.
For fall 2023, Rousteing dug back to the beginning of Pierre Balmain in 1945 with its iconic bold shoulders and highly distinguishable prints.
Certainly, the lavish suede suits featuring oversized silver lapels sway with the body’s motion and the dynamic black-and-white tones. The brand managed to utilise buttons and small delicate elements to create a sophisticated Parisian look.
Lastly, all the guests then headed to MariStar Seafood Bar for an exclusive after-party sponsored by Balmain.
