JOB BRIEF

We are looking for a detective to join our team to lead investigations on criminal activities and build strong and compelling cases against suspects linked to the crimes. 

If accepted, you will be working with a team of police officers and other detectives in the law enforcement department. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Utilise deductive reasoning and proper analysis to conclude and make decisions leading up to prosecution. 
  • Write concise and detailed reports or records.
  • Organise search and arrest warrants on suspects.
  • Testify in court on case findings and evidence.
  • Operate firearms and surveillance equipment responsibly.  

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS

  • Proven work experience as an investigator or a similar role.
  • Proficient with computers and other technology.
  • Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work irregular hours, weekends and holidays. 
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or any related field is preferred.
