- Refer people to eye doctors and ophthalmologists when they need treatment or if they have a serious eye injury.
Skills and Requirements
- Work history as an Optometrist.
- In-depth knowledge of eye problems and eyesight problems.
- Experience using eye test tools like an ophthalmoscope and a tonometer.
- Being able to calmly and simply explain medical terms.
- Attention to detail.
- Degree in Optometry.
