JOB BRIEF
We are currently looking for a passionate and dedicated landscaper to join our close-knit company. In addition, duties may include applying fertilisers and maintaining the landscape design by removing weeds or dead plants and overseeing repairs.
The ideal candidate must be creative, have excellent problem-solving skills and organisational abilities to ensure the growth of plants in our landscaping business.
The job involved maintaining a variety of landscape structures that range from typical grassy areas such as lawns or gardens to more granular items such as houseplants. They will be assisting with any pruning tasks if needed.
Ultimately, you will be responsible for building and maintaining gardens that are both visually beautiful and aesthetically pleasing.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Apply pesticides to remove harmful insects such as mosquitoes, wasps and worms
- Conduct general maintenance duties such as cleaning walkways and fixing fountains
- Trim and edge around flower beds and walls
- Plant new decorative bushes, flowers, plants and shrubs
- Remove weeds and dead plants if needed to preserve the health and beauty of the plants
- Trim overgrown limbs, hedges and leaves to ensure an appealing look to the area
REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS
- Proven work experience as a landscaper or any similar role
- Must be able to operate maintenance equipment such as lawnmowers, leaf blowers and hedge trimmers
- Strong knowledge on management such as pest and lawn maintenance
- High attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
- High school diploma or any equivalent qualification
SALARY RANGE
The monthly salary range for a landscaper is RM2,600 to RM3,200.
