JOB BRIEF
We are searching for a gastroenterologist to join our team and help patients with gastrointestinal and liver ailments such liver damage and stomach cancer.
A gastroenterologist’s duties also include chatting with patients to understand their needs, running various tests to diagnose patients and performing various surgical treatments.
Finally, you will collaborate with other medical experts as well as patients to treat various medical disorders and assist them live a healthy life.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Consult with a patient’s primary doctor
- Analyse patient historical data
- Consult with other specialists such as oncologists in the case of cancer
- Perform endoscopic procedures to inspect internal organs
- Execute ultrasound scanning such as X-Ray and MRI
- Perform surgery in the digestive tract
REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS
- Proven work experience as a gastroenterologist or similar role
- Expertise in performing endoscopic and colonoscopy procedures
- Proficiency using ultrasound scanning such as X-Rays and MRI
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Relevant training and/or certifications if related
SALARY RANGE
The salary range for a gastroenterologist is between RM 10,700 to RM 20,650.
