Posted by Malaysian Bunnies, your time has come! The long-awaited partnership between McDonald’s and NewJeans is in our country today.
The fast food giant and the top-charting Korean girl group will work together. This was first mentioned on McDonald’s Korea’s social media pages in May. The “NewJeans Chicken Dance Campaign” started in June with ads of the girls dancing to promote the brand’s chicken menu items.
According to a timetable shared by the fast food brand, the campaign also started in 9 other Asian countries at the same time as South Korea. Like in other places, the campaign in our country will feature exclusive McDonald’s packaging with the NewJeans mascot.
The Mcdonald’s X NewJeans campaign started on September 7 in Malaysia and then will spread to Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, and Vietnam.

The collaboration meals include Crispy Spicy Chicken Burger, Wrap Cripsy Spicy Chicken, Hashbrown and McShaker Fries Seaweed. You can get them in ala carte, Medium or Large set.
It has already started in the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Brunei, and South Korea. McDonald’s first global campaign with a K-pop group was with BTS, which was a big success. The second global campaign with a K-pop group is with NewJeans.
