Citing reports from Seasia.stats, Kuala Lumpur (241) ranks first in the list of cities with the most tall buildings in Southeast Asia. Jakarta (165) and Bangkok (142) rank second and third, respectively.

10 cities in Malaysia were included in the list of 35 total cities! Petaling Jaya is ranked 14th, while Penang and Johor Bahru are ranked 6th and 7th respectively among the SEA cities with the most skyscrapers.
The cities of Malaysia did not end there. On the list, Bentong, Pahang, and Malacca are ranked 20th and 21st, respectively. Cyberjaya, Shah Alam, and Subang Jaya are remarkably ranked 23rd, 24th, and 25th – three places in a row.
At positions 28th and 30th, Putrajaya and Kota Kinabalu, Sabah “closed off” the Malaysian list.
The data is measured in terms of the building heights: 150 m +, 200 m +, and 300 m +.
