JOB BRIEF
We are looking for an experienced ESL teacher to join our team. You will need to organise courses for non-native speakers with diverse activities and methods that cover all aspects of the English language such as speaking, writing and comprehending.Ā
Also, as a teacher in our school, you will need to create individualised educational plans based on each studentās needs and evaluate their progress through homework and assessments. Furthermore, ESL teacher skills also include building positive relationships with both students and parents to help them evaluate the studentsā progress.Ā

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare classroom and course materials
- Assign homework and exams
- Grade studentsā assessments
- Create individualised plans for students with special requirements such as learning disabilities
- Research new teaching methods for teaching English as a second language
- Create a supportive and positive classroom environment
- Maintain records of student attendance and grades
- Resolve crises in the classroom
- Inform parents on studentsā progress
- Collaborate with educational staff to provide a positive learning experience to students
REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS
- Previous experience as an ESL teacher or any similar role
- Knowledge of various methods of teaching English to non-native speakersĀ
- Great organisational and communication skills
- A calm and resilient personality
- Ability to handle classroom crisis
- ESL or TESOL certification
- Degree in English Language, English Literature or any similar field
SALARY RANGEĀ
The monthly salary range for an ESL teacher is RM 2600 to RM 3700.Ā
