WHAT DOES A PSYCHIATRIST DO?

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review patients’ medical history and gather information from family members and psychologists

- Develop therapy plans

- Advise patients on how to cope with mental illness
REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS
- Work experience as a psychiatrist
- In-depth knowledge of psychotherapeutic methods
- Good communication skills
- Strong observation skills
