A chiropractor is a licensed healthcare professional that focuses on the body’s capability to repair itself from neuromusculoskeletal problems. A chiropractor helps manage back and neck pain through the use of spinal adjustments to maintain good alignment.

WHAT DOES A CHIROPRACTOR DO?

A chiropractor develops individualised treatment regimens after detecting patients’ health issues in order to evaluate their physical state. They do a variety of diagnostic techniques such as x-rays and ultrasounds in order to understand the patient’s needs. Chiropractors provide an all-around care which includes spine manipulation, adjustments, massage and other healing techniques. Furthermore, this is done to reduce discomfort and enhance the musculoskeletal system’s strength. Their primary objective is to use non-invasive, drug-free methods to assist patients in improving their health and reducing discomfort.

CHIROPRACTOR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: 

Work with patients to identify health concerns and create a treatment plan

Administering holistic treatments such as spinal manipulation, adjustments, massage and hot and cold compresses

JOB BRIEF

We are seeking a skilled chiropractor to join our team and provide specialised care to patients who are experiencing muscle, nerve and bone injuries. In addition, you will be evaluating the physical condition of patients by conducting necessary tests and developing specified treatment plans to alleviate ongoing pain and discomfort.

Other than that, you will be working closely with patients by offering extended care and effective pain management solutions.

Furthermore, you will be contributing to the improvement of our patients’ well-being through your expertise and dedication.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Consult with patients about their medical history and the reason for their visit 
  • Create a plan of care that focuses on the patient’s overall health and wellbeing
  • Assess the patient’s spine, posture and reflexes to provide the appropriate treatment
  • Perform neuromusculoskeletal therapy by adjusting the patient’s spine and other joints
  • Provide patients with tips to improve their lifestyle including nutrition, exercise plans and stretches
  • Keep detailed records of patient information, conditions and treatment plans
  • Attend conferences and workshops to stay current with development in Chiropractic care
  • Refer patients to other doctors or specialists if needed

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS

  • Proven work experience as a chiropractor or any similar role
  • Strong communication and active listening skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of neuromusculoskeletal injuries, conditions, and treatments
  • Understanding of stretches, exercises, therapies and dietary changes that may help patients manage their overall health
  • Ability to analyse patient conditions based on observations and medical tests
  • A commitment to providing the best possible care
  • Relevant training and certifications as a chiropractor
