We are looking for a psychiatrist to diagnose and treat mental illness safely and help patients recover.

WHAT DOES A PSYCHIATRIST DO?

  • Discuss with patients on their diagnosis and long-term care
  • Observe changes in behaviour that are linked to mental disorders
  • Determine treatments and prescribe medications
  • Provide other options for treatments such as therapy or group counselling

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Review patients’ medical history and gather information from family members and psychologists
  • Evaluate patients’ emotional, behavioural and mental states through various methods
  • Identify mental disorders and provide the best treatments
  • Develop therapy plans
  • Prescribe medications
  • Advise patients on how to cope with mental illness

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS

  • Work experience as a psychiatrist
  • In-depth knowledge of psychotherapeutic methods
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong observation skills
  • Thoughtful and compassionate
